Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of service.
- Sanitate dining areas and ensure cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance their dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including daily specials, to effectively upsell to guests.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating bills accurately.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial but not mandatory.
