We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage multiple projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications, and local city and county requirements. This Superintendent will lead multiple crews across multiple projects and coordinate all onsite activities while maintaining a strong focus on quality control, safety, and client satisfaction. Site safety as well as equipment safety is a top priority.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in excavation, heavy civil construction, or related fields with at least 5 years in a supervisory role, including site Foreman.
• Oversee daily operations of excavation projects, including earthwork, grading, trenching, and site preparation.
• Must be able to review and interpret plans and specifications as well as implement them.
• Maintain effective communication with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Must be able to work at a high-performance level in a fast-paced environment.
• Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the excavation process, including delays, unforeseen site conditions, or safety concerns.
• Responsible for assisting with all other roles including operating and laboring.
• Must be able to plan and oversee work, know what materials you require onsite and when they are needed.
• Knowledge around processes for installation of underground utilities in regard to grades, slopes, compaction, drainage, pipe laser and other tools required to complete tasks.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and on active construction sites, lift heavy materials, and operate machinery when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, daily logs, and safety reports.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Competitive Pay and Benefits :

Job Type : Full-time (40 hours)

Pay : $120,000 / year to $150,000 / year based on experience
