Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning and development for toddlers and preschool-aged children. The Teacher will be responsible for implementing educational activities that foster literacy, physical education, and social skills while managing classroom behavior effectively.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of toddlers and young children.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Educate students in various subjects including literacy, physical education, and social skills.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
- Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with students in a daycare or classroom setting is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of toddler care practices and early childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education and physical activity.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support positive classroom dynamics.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus.
