We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal – Event Preparation Coordinator to support our legal team in preparing for hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings. This role will work closely with attorneys and associates to ensure all necessary documents, case law, and materials are thoroughly prepared in advance of each event.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys and associates in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
- Compile relevant case law, statutes, and legal precedents as needed for each event.
- Ensure that all required materials are assembled and ready for use by attorneys.
- Coordinate with associates to verify that all procedural and evidentiary requirements are met.
- Maintain an updated checklist to track event preparation tasks and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and legal staff in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with court procedures, evidentiary rules, and legal documentation.
- Proficiency in legal research databases (e.g., Westlaw, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
