Project Architect / Construction Administrator
Job Summary
We are currently seeking creative and talented candidates with 5-10 years of professional experience in life science / lab, hi-educational, K-12 educational and public facilities design with strong interpersonal with extensive construction administration skills and experience for a Sr. Project Architect position. You will work closely with our Life Sciences and Educational group in a collaborative environment on one or more projects.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from inception through construction. However, at beginning, you will be responsible for design development, construction documents and construction administration of our current projects. The Sr. Project Architect will also serve as the prime client contact, leading large groups of consultants, and managing internal staff. Successful candidates will have experience managing all phases of planning, design and construction.
Responsibilities :
- Able to manage multiple science and laboratory, hi-educational and K-12 educational projects
- Exemplary leadership skills
- Lead design teams from concept design all the way through construction administration, but strong background on construction administration and construction management.
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients for construction documents and construction administration
- Deliver outstanding client service
- Manage and develop project schedules
- Lead and coordinate large consultant teams
- Foster and participate in a collaborative professional environment
- Serve as a mentor to junior staff
