What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Hand/Driver position at K & G Mowers?
This position floats from shop hand duties to delivery driver. (Clean Driving Record Required)
Shop hand duties include assisting the shop manager, assisting the mechanics, assembling and putting accessories on mowers, washing merchandise, grounds maintenance, shop organization, loading and unloading mowers for customers, etc.
Delivery duties include loading and unloading mowers and other equipment onto company trailer with and without assistance, driving a trailer including in high traffic areas like DFW. Problem solving when on delivery. Communicating with customers and team members about ETAs and deviations.
Customer service skills are very important. You are our last point of contact with customers when they purchase a mower, or we complete a repair for them. Their experience with you is the last impression they have of us as a company.
This is an entry position with the possibility for growth, mentorship, and there is opportunity for advancement within the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 48 per week
