Job Summary:
The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in managing residential countertop installation projects from start to finish. The role is focused on enhancing customer satisfaction by maintaining clear communication and coordinating effectively with clients, contractors, and internal departments. This position involves tracking, gathering, and disseminating project information to ensure a seamless and efficient process for all stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent people skills with a strong sense of urgency. You will need to be detail orientated, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining your composure. You will be working in partnership with clients, contractors and colleagues alike to help track, gather and dispense project related information and updates daily.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage residential countertop installation projects from order processing to completion.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring prompt responses to inquiries and updates.
· Communicate with clients via phone and email to collect project requirements and address concerns in a timely manner.
· Oversee the CAD and estimating approval process, ensuring timely procurement of signed documents.
· Confirm project readiness for measures and installations, resolving any potential concerns proactively.
· Ensure required plumbing fixtures and countertop support brackets are in place before installation.
· Document and maintain project data in job tracking software (e.g., Moraware).
· Collaborate with production and scheduling departments to resolve material and scheduling conflicts.
· Research project-related issues and recommend solutions to resolve them effectively.
· Close out completed projects or set up remake/rework phases as needed.
· Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancement.
· Provide cross-departmental support during peak demand or staff shortages.
Qualifications and Skills:

· Prior industry knowledge or experience in residential countertops.
· Familiarity with architectural drawings and quoting jobs.
· Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
· High school diploma or higher education.
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to normal office environments, however, brief periods on the production floor should be expected. Appropriate safety equipment will be provided. Frequently operates a computer, enters data into systems, verifies information, etc… The noise level is usually moderate.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods, use hands and arms with frequent repetitive motions. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk and must be able to see, speak and hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus as it relates to working at a computer.
