Job Summary:
The position of Project Manager is to plan and supervise the installation of solid surface, granite and quartz surfaces for a wide range of commercial building projects. You will organize and oversee these projects from start to finish and ensure they are completed in a timely, efficient and profitable manner.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while maintaining your composure and providing superior customer service. You will be working in partnership with clients, contractors and our internal departments daily to help track, gather and dispense project related information and updates, thereby enabling everyone to do their jobs more effectively with maximum efficiency.
Daily Responsibilities:
· Acting as a primary point of contact, promptly answer phone calls and respond to emails from customers related to the status of their respective orders throughout the lifecycle of their project.
· Effectively communicate with customer using both phone, e-mail and in-person meeting to collect missing information and project requirements
· Monitor approval process of both the drafting and estimating departments to ensure all signed documents are procured within strict deadlines to prevent production and installation delays.
· Effectively maintain all project related data within our Moraware job tracking software.
· Communicate with KG Stevens colleagues and respond to internal inquiries in a timely fashion.
· Confirm project readiness for countertop measure & installation and notify client/contractor of areas of concern that may otherwise impact a positive end result. Maintain a record of all communications with the customer/contractor
· Ensure client and/or contractor supplied plumbing fixtures are on-site and countertop support brackets are installed as needed prior to countertop installation date.
· Review incoming work orders from completed projects and close out activities and/or set up Re-make/Re-work phases as appropriate.
· Research product quality issues to determine/recommend the correct course of action needed to resolve a problem and share the agreed upon resolution with the client as well as appropriate K.G. Stevens personnel.
· Work with the Production Department to expedite material fabrication and resolve scheduling conflicts as needed as it relates to warranty replacement and/or remake/re-work activities.
· Schedule field measures, installs and service and repair appointments with customers.
· Always maintain composure and provide excellent customer service while working in a demanding, fast paced environment.
· Analyze and develop opportunities for improvement and develop a subsequent implementation program with the Business Operations Manager.
· Coach, train and support the K.G. Stevens team by looking for opportunities to learn from others and to develop and teach others as needed.
· Practice safe work habits, be punctual, dependable and responsible.

Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to normal office environments, however, time at jobsites as well as brief periods on the production floor should be expected. Appropriate safety equipment will be provided. Frequently operates a computer, enters data into systems, verifies information, etc… The noise level is usually moderate.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods, use hands and arms with frequent repetitive motions. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk and must be able to see, speak and hear.
Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus as it relates to working at a computer.
