What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver/Personal Assistant position at K. Hitselberger Consulting Services?
I am a physically disabled woman in my 30s who utilizes a power wheelchair located in the Nokomis/Venice Florida area. I am looking to hire a Personal Assistant/PCA to help with my daily living activities (ADLs) and other general administrative/household management tasks.
The assistance you will provide will include physical help with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, daily grooming (including assistance with hairstyling, nail painting and manicuring, and makeup application), light meal preparation, and light housekeeping, including regular assistance with laundry. You will also need to help me get into or out of bed, depending on your work shifts.
Please note that no prior experience with any elements of the job is required, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
Another aspect of this job is assisting with administrative-related tasks to help facilitate time management, organization, and overall household management. These tasks may include scheduling meetings, Driving and accompanying me to medical and other appointments, running errands, making phone calls, handling mail and packages, and organizing files and materials.

Successful applicants will:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a strong English speaker (fluent or near fluent proficiency is required)
- Be physically strong/willing and able to help with physical and/or deeply personal tasks, including transferring an adult female with the help of a Hoyer lift, dressing and/or bathing, and assisting with other personal needs related to ADLs.
- Have excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Be reliable, punctual, and able to communicate needs and concerns professionally.
- Have reliable transportation (required) and a driver's license (Strongly preferred).

- Have an interest in beauty and fashion (preferred)
- Be compassionate and willing to pitch in and assist wherever needed
Schedule: I am currently looking to hire someone for from approximately 10 AM to 10 PM with the possibility of additional hours shifts are needed
Hours are somewhat flexible but must fall roughly within this timeframe. Please note your schedule preferences and availability in your application.

To take this position, you must be located in Sarasota/Venice/Nokomis, Florida or the surrounding areas and willing/able to work at a physical location outside your home.***
