The Land Planning Intern will assist Land Planning Managers in satisfying all entitlement contingencies for assigned communities. Manage project needs with consultants, field staff and jurisdictions during planning and construction. Act as liaison between all entities to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. Assist in managing the entitlement process while maintaining community schedules. Assist in processing all engineering plans with corresponding agencies from tentative approvals through final approvals and permits. Audit and approve the payment of all related fees for communities. Reconcile community budgets and report necessary budget adjustments on a monthly basis by tracking contract payments, fees paid and jurisdictional fee changes.
Ideal candidate will be someone who is actively pursuing a degree four-year college or university focusing on Urban Planning and possess a strong desire to pursue a career in the homebuilding industry.
