Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Specializing in SUD & Medication Prescribing
Fee for Services : $75 for New Evaluation; $60 for follow-up visits.

K&I has an opening for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who wants to join our growing company and help our community. We are looking for PMH-NP who will provide exceptional care.
Job Responsibilities :
- Follow the Policies and Procedures of K&I
- Assess, examine, diagnose and treat patients with mental illness by conducting a comprehensive family assessment.
- Assesses the impact of acute and / or chronic illness, psychiatric disorders, and stressors on the family system.
- Responsible for identifying, selecting, and implementing clinical evidence-based best practices and programs
- Dose / administer / monitor suboxone and monthly vivitrol injections (training provided)
- Develops a plan of care
- Establishes and maintains appropriate standards for diagnosis and treatment, including therapeutic modalities and prescribing practices
- Ensuring medical aspects of quality management
- Conducts psychiatric assessment and diagnostic examinations
- Oversees linkage between primary care (physical) health system and between behavioral health care system, etc.
- Prescribes and provides medication management; Counsel on the benefits and the side effects of taking the recommended medications as well as the effects of not taking medication

Education and Experience Requirements :
K&I follows the salary guidelines in the State of Maryland. The position for PMH-NP will be full-time. The position for PMH-NP will be a contract position at $75 per new / initial client assessment, $60 per client follow-up visits.
