Job Summary
An established family business is looking for an Office Manager / Assistant to join our company. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. This role requires a strong background in clerical duties, data entry, bookkeeping and office management skills.
Duties
Help the Project Managers by managing project calendars, and help maintain project schedule information.
- Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, job estimates, and project documents.
- Conduct proofreading of documents to ensure clarity and professionalism.
- Perform general bookkeeping tasks, such as recording transactions, reconciling bank statements, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Coordinate employee timesheets for job cost review, prepare for processing in payroll system and help with prevailing wage reports if needed.
- Assist with human resources issues and new employees and benefit management.
- Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing inquiries appropriately.
Qualifications
- Office management and bookkeeping experience.
- Human Resources and Employee management a plus
- Experience with permits, bonds and licenses a plus
- Either is or willing to become a Notary in Ohio
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with calendar management tools and office equipment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
