We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Outdoor Power Equipment Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. You will play a key role in driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Prior Outdoor Power Equipment knowledge is a must.

Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
- Process transactions efficiently using the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to effectively communicate with customers.
- Assist in stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner to enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Proficiency in basic math and retail math for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
- Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems.
- Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while also being self-motivated.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly store environment.
- Supervisory skills are a plus for those interested in taking on additional responsibilities.

Expected hours: 40 per week
