Role Description:
Design, deploy, and manage AWS FSx for NetApp ONTAP solutions. Migrate on-premise NetApp ONTAP storage to AWS FSx.
Optimize storage performance, security, and cost in AWS.
Implement snapshot, replication, and backup strategies.
Integrate FSx ONTAP with other AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda).Monitor and troubleshoot storage performance and connectivity issues.
Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
Provide support for disaster recovery (DR) and high availability (HA).Automate storage provisioning and management using AWS CLI, Terraform, and Python.
Technical Skills:AWS FSx for NetApp ONTAP ? Deep understanding of architecture, deployment, and management.
NetApp ONTAP ? Experience with storage provisioning, snapshots, replication, and deduplication's Services ? Strong hands-on experience with EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, and AWS Backup.
Storage Protocols ? Expertise in NFS, SMB (CIFS), iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
Hybrid Cloud & Migrations ? Knowledge of NetApp Cloud Volumes, AWS Data Sync, Snap Mirror.
Automation & Scripting ? Hands-on with Python, PowerShell, Bash, AWS CLI, Terraform.
Networking ? Understanding of VPC, Direct Connect, VPN, Private Link in AWS. Monitoring & Security ? Experience with CloudWatch, AWS Security Hub, and encryption (KMS, TLS, IAM policies).
