Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC waterjet machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The waterjet Operator will ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines, including waterjet equipment, to produce high-quality components.
- Perform setup and calibration of machines according to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and machining techniques for part fabrication.
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precision.
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Assist in the operation of stamping presses and cranes as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Waterjet Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of basic math principles related to measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with quality inspection processes and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and machining equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
