KEY RELATIONSHIPS
This role will report to the Director of Strategic Sourcing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Cost Analysis: Evaluate supplier costs, negotiate pricing, and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining quality standards.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality control, and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and recommendations to Director of Strategic Sourcing to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
- Contracting Process: Master the contracting process (negotiation, contract preparation and administration), tactical and transactional activity for assigned areas.
- Support the administration of the firms’ travel program
- Support the administration of the firms’ corporate credit card program
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
- Support the Indirect Sourcing lead in achievement of cultural and behavioral change towards establishment of a sustainable, best in class sourcing organization capable of delivering significant and sustainable value across the Firm
- Leverage existing technologies to support the sourcing process and identify additional technology needs to augment specific categories where applicable
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative in the day-to-day operation

EXPERIENCE SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor Degree required; MBA preferred
- 2-5 years professional experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain Management and/or Business Consulting
- Previous exposure with cross-functional/cultural leadership
- Experience with e-procurement tools (upstream and downstream)
- Knowledge in multiple commodities
ADDITIONAL ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong written communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to shift priorities and manage changing demands with a sense of urgency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as reporting and analysis tools such as Ariba and Sap
- This job operates in an office setting and is largely sedentary, requiring the routine use of a computer and other standard office equipment.
- The ability to open file cabinets, lift files, bend and stand on a stool may also be required.
The compensation Salary is $82,000 - $123,000
The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
