- Manages and participates in all processes within the department including but not limited to order: fulfillment, inventory control and transfers, shipping, receiving, pick/processing, and customer service.
- Executes and implements all company initiatives; clearly communicates objectives and priorities to the team.
- Creates daily schedules in accordance with business needs; demonstrates adaptability in delegating daily team activities to align with business volume and company priorities.
- Maintains a safe and organized facility; coordinates with internal/external parties to complete maintenance requests and projects.
- Cultivates a customer-first culture; ensures the team understands how the quality of their work impacts customers, colleagues, and business outcomes.
- Collaborates professionally with internal teams (e.g. Operations, Buyers, Customer Service, Auction, Retail) to fulfill customer needs.
- Exhibits skillful troubleshooting abilities; acts as the ultimate point of escalation for all non-standard orders and customer service issues.
- Coaches and develops team members on a daily basis; undertakes corrective and/or disciplinary action when necessary.
- 2-4 years of experience managing a team in the retail or warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, and kneel.
- Ability to load, unload, and operate a hand truck safely.
