Four 10 Hour shifts, Monday thru Thursday
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
Under limited supervision, welder position safely performs standard fixture setup, welding, grinding, and buffing for a variety of organizational manufacturing needs. This position requires the ability to plan and perform diversified tasks for shorter production runs. Projects will be more complex in nature.
Essential Functions

1. Perform typical welding operations per prints.
2. Select proper welding locations, and proper fixtures.
3. Make proper set-ups for welding operations.
4. Perform prescribed maintenance as required.
5. Perform all dimensional inspections.
6. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
7. Familiar with proper use procedures using different types of Cranes, Hand Grinder, Portable Plasma Cutter, Cutting Torch, Turntable, etc.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
