Job Overview
K&N Engineering, Inc. located in Corona, California, is a manufacturer of air filters, cold air intake systems, oil filters, HVAC filters, Industrial filters, performance parts, and other related products. We are hiring a talented Business Intelligence Architect to support implementation of BI technologies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Technically lead BI platform based on Azure and Power BI technologies
- Manage work for offshore team in development of ETL pipelines and cube development
- Work directly with business leaders to document requirements and prepare technical documents for offshore team to execute.
- Write SQL Queries and Stored Procedures to guide offshore team
- Take full responsibility from requirements to delivery for end customers.
- Follow a reasonably accepted communication plan for each project.
- Coordinate and test programs/solutions before formal launch
- Actively seek ways to improve business system processes and interactions
- Analyze and align business expectations using the data ingested from multiple sources
Qualifications
Experience, Skills & Education:
- Must have bachelor’s degree in computer science or related science subject.
- Must have 10 years of experience working with diverse and modern technologies.
- Must have 7 years of development experience in Azure Synapse and related technologies like pipelines, data lakes and data bricks.
- Must have 7 years of experience in Power BI reporting and cube design
- Additional experience in AWS cloud is a big plus
- Must have deep understanding of Data warehousing principles and tools like Data Factory, Data Lakes and Databricks
- Must be able to write complex stored procedures and SQL queries
- Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Qlik Sense is a plus
- Knowledge of platforms such as .NET, D365 and Automation Anywhere is a plus.
Additional Qualities Necessary:
- Functionally strong and technically capable to understand and make decisions on the latest technologies.
- Strong desire to learn new technologies and support their implementation.
- Must understand good leadership and project management principles.
- Highly collaborative and responsive with clear understanding of communication management.
- Possesses the ability to understand and provide Level 1 support for all tech stacks.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Corona, California or Grand Prairie, Texas

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
