Summary
Volcano School's KOA Club After School Program is in search of a program leader to lead activities and programming for our after school child care program. If you have a passion and drive to mentor our youth, look no further than this opportunity! The program runs upon school dismissal (2 : 10 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; 1 : 15 on Wednesdays) through 4 : 30 PM each work day, in addition to intersession and day camp programs we offer during break.
Duties
- Plan and implement structured STEAM activities for a group of children ranging from 4 years 8 months to 13.
- Escort and take accountability for students enrolled in the program upon school dismissal to the program's care
- Communicate and forge positive and collaborative relationships with participant families
- Assist students with academic support and tutoring
- Supervise program participants at all times
- Maintain accountability, health, safety, and welfare of program participants while in the care of program staff
- Assist with setting up and cleaning / sanitization procedures periodically throughout the duration of programming
