Residential Architectural Drafter - Hybrid

Position Overview
Seeking an experienced architectural drafter to create detailed residential construction drawings, manage permit processes, and collaborate with project stakeholders. This role combines technical drafting expertise with project coordination responsibilities.

Required Experience & Qualities
- Minimum 3-4 years of residential drafting experience
- Proficiency in architectural drafting software and 3D rendering tools
- Experience with building permit processes and documentation
- Demonstrated passion for architectural design and drafting excellence
- Track record of positive team collaboration and enthusiasm that energizes colleagues
- Strong commitment to continuous improvement in architectural drafting skills

Core Responsibilities
- Create permit-ready construction drawings with comprehensive specifications
- Generate 3D visualizations and renderings for client presentations
- Manage building permit applications and coordinate responses to permit reviews
- Collaborate with senior architect and structural engineer on design implementation
- Communicate construction requirements clearly to field teams
- Present designs and technical details to clients
- Ensure drawings include complete speed and finish specifications

Key Skills & Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of architectural drafting standards and building codes
- Strong understanding of residential construction methods
- Excellent project coordination and communication abilities
- Proficiency in creating detailed construction specifications
- Experience with permit submission requirements and processes
- Ability to create compelling 3D visualizations
- Strong presentation and client communication skills

This is a full-time position requiring collaboration with various stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Pay: $24.86 - $26.46 per hour
