Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential to the overall success of our food service operations, supporting both culinary staff and front-of-house service.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure that all items are properly stored after cleaning.
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent support to the kitchen team.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
