We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced culinary environment. The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that food orders are prepared and delivered efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of kitchen operations, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure all orders are accurate and meet customer expectations.
• Monitor food preparation processes to maintain quality standards and adherence to health regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of food items as needed, demonstrating knowledge of culinary techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and service areas.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns with professionalism, providing exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to streamline operations during peak service times.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred, particularly in roles related to banquet service or food handling.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and culinary terminology is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A background in culinary arts or food service is an advantage but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
