KPOT Front-of-House Manager:
As the Front-of-House Manager, you will handle ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing the front-of-house team, and maintaining a welcoming and efficient dining environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, have a passion for delivering outstanding service, and thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
1. Team Supervision:
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient and high- quality service.
- Monitor team members’ performance, providing feedback and coaching to enhance their skills and promote continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain staff schedules, ensuring appropriate coverage for each shift.
2. Hiring and Onboarding Process:
- Set up interviews for potential new team members and plan for success with thorough training to ensure consistent service quality for customers.
3. Communication and Coordination:
- Address and resolve guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Coordinate with staff to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations including food handling and sanitation procedures.
4. Guest Satisfaction:
- Pay attention to guest preferences and accommodate specific requests as needed.
- Maintain a strong presence on the floor, taking appropriate action to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Actively oversee online ratings on Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, etc. to ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Managerial Duties:
- Stay updated on industry trends, including new menu items, service techniques, and technologies, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare reports on sales figures, labor costs, customer feedback, and other relevant metrics and present them for manager review.
- Handle cash transactions, including reconciling cash registers, ensuring accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry, preferably as a
- Front-of-House Manager or Restaurant Manager.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to handle challenging situations with composure and efficiency.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house procedures, guest services, food handling practices and reservation systems.
- ServSafe Food Manager Certified highly recommended.
