Duties
- Assist in the preparation of food items according to standardized recipes and menu specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines to provide a safe dining experience for guests.
- Support the cooking staff by performing tasks such as chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is highly desirable.
