K-Pot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is looking for a Server to join our team. We are a small, family owned and operated restaurant in San Antonio, TX. We are looking for a team player who is passionate about hospitality and customer service.
We are looking for a person who is eager to learn about food and beverage, has a great personality, and is excited to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter and take their orders.
- SENSE OF URGENCY!!!
- Deliver food and beverages to guest, including loading tables with appropriate equipment.
- Assist the restaurant manager with daily tasks such as cleaning, restocking, restocking condiments, refilling water, resetting dining plates, and maintaining restaurant appearance standards.
- Answer the telephone to receive and respond to requests from guests or wait staff.
- Perform cashier duties including accepting cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment; counting and sorting coins and memorizing denominations; checking cash drawer for tampering; reconciling drawer contents; reconciling transactions; preparing bank deposits; assisting in maintaining security measures; opening and closing restaurant; maintaining storage areas for food and beverages; preparing and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies; removing trash from restaurant grounds.
- Cleaning duties include mopping floors, sweeping, dusting, cleaning windows, emptying trash bins, vacuuming.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant service or other related fields preferred.
- Ability to stand or walk for entire length of shift of up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend repeatedly during shift. Must be able to work with all types of paper products including staplers and pressure washers. Must be able to work with small appliances such as microwaves, dishwashers, coffee makers, ice machines etc.. Must be able to work on your feet for entire length of shift (8 hours).
