Körber Technologies, Inc., a Sales and Service Company serving the North American Tobacco Industry, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a Stockroom Material Handler to join our team. As a Stockroom Material Handler, you will be working in the Stockroom with a team of experienced Stockroom personnel performing your assigned responsibilities.
Your role in our team
- You will ensure proper receipt of material from outside vendors, manufacturing and assembly.
- You will ensure packaging of material for shipment to customers is done in an efficient and safe manner.
- You will ensure that parts stocking is done in an accurate and acceptable manner.
- You will utilize equipment and work practices for best efficiency and productivity.
- You will complete necessary clerical duties associated with accurate filling of customer orders for both internal and external customers.
- You will operate power and hand trucks for materials movement.
- You will perform work safely, adhering to company safety standards, and will keep work area clean.
- You are a high school graduate, or equivalent experience.
- You have two (2) years’ experience in materials handling.
- You possess strong clerical skills.
- You are able to lift 25 pounds on a frequent basis, during an eight-hour shift, and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
- You are able to stand on your feet for an entire eight-hour shift or more.
