Required Competencies, Qualifications and Skills:
* High School Degree and 2 years of related work experience in general accounting, A/P, A/R or payroll.
* Proven understanding and practice of general accounting practices and procedures.
* Thorough understanding of the payroll process including payroll taxes, 401k and various deduction types highly desired.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Fluent reading, writing, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Provide Accounting and clerical assistance to the Accounting Department.
* Prepare and analzye account reconciliations.
* Prepare bank deposits and general ledger postings.
* Actively participate in month-end and year-end close, financial reviews, and 401k audits.
* Analyze and process inbound invoices.
* Maintain payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data including the uploading of mime and attendance data. Paylocity experience a plus.
* Back-up payroll administrator.
