K&S Tire Recycling is seeking a hands-on, bilingual Operations Manager with experience in the tire recycling industry or a related field. This role requires a strong leader who can optimize processes, oversee quality control, and ensure operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in an operations management role, specifically in tire recycling, waste management, manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) Required β Must be able to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, and clients.
- Hands-On Leadership: Ability to work in the field, supervise employees directly, and be involved in day-to-day operations.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of tire recycling processes, including collection, shredding, material separation, and compliance.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot operational challenges and implement efficiency improvements.
- Safety & Compliance: Familiarity with OSHA regulations, environmental laws, and industry safety standards.
- Logistics & Fleet Management: fleet operations, and inventory control.
- Budget & Cost Control: Ability to manage operational expenses while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and industry-specific software.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members, leadership, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient recycling process.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures for tire processing and material output.
- Supervise and train employees to improve productivity and enforce safety protocols.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with all environmental and safety laws.
- Manage fleet operations, including schedule maintenance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Work closely with leadership to develop strategic goals for business growth.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and make necessary adjustments to meet objectives.
We offer salary $72k-84K plus Bonus/Incentive plus Time off.
