Plant Worker – Tire Recycling CompanyJob Overview:K&S Tire Recycling is looking for hardworking Plant Workers to assist with tire processing, machine operation, sorting materials, and maintaining a safe work environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are physically fit, reliable, and ready to work in a fast-paced industrial setting.Qualifications:✔ High School Diploma or GED (preferred, but not required)
✔ Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks
✔ Previous experience in:
- Tire recycling industry (preferred)
- Auto scrap yard or metal recycling (preferred)
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor
✔ Basic mechanical skills for equipment operation and troubleshooting
✔ Forklift certification (a plus, but training can be provided)
✔ Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation & Maintenance
- Operate and monitor shredders, conveyors, and sorting equipment
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report any issues
- Ensure machines are running efficiently and safely
Sorting & Quality Control
- Inspect and separate recyclable materials from waste
- Maintain high-quality standards in processing used tires
- Safety & Compliance
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company procedures
- Wear PPE (gloves, masks, safety glasses, boots, etc.) at all times
- Keep the work area clean and organized to prevent hazards
Loading & Unloading
- Assist in moving and stacking materials forklifts Or Skid steer
- Load processed rubber and shredded tires for transportation
Teamwork & Communication
- Work efficiently with supervisors and team members
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or material issues
Work Schedule & Conditions:✅ Full-time position

- $17 - $22 per hour (based on experience & skills)
