Data Center Technician to provide support for the Data Center Operation team by racking & stacking, cabling, and
maintaining infrastructure in the client's data centers. The Technician will be responsible for:
- Installing and cabling equipment in the data centers based on design documents
- Update and maintain DCIM tool and documentation
- Uninstalling and removing equipment
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues using various tools
- Performs day-to-day maintenance to keep the data center clean, safe, and secure
Requirements
MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate must have minimally achieved the following level of experience:
- 4 years of experience working in a data center supporting related work.
- Ability to perform physical work related to the job.
- 4 years of experience in network support with LAN troubleshooting.
- 4 experience using documentation tools (MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Word, Etc.)
PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor?s degree in computer science from an accredited college.
- Prior education industry/project experience.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate in a credible and confident manner at all levels in the organization in clear, concise language.
- Familiarity with DIIT network standards for hardware and network connectivity.
