The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in security or law enforcement, with a strong preference for ex-police or military personnel.
Position Overview:
As an Unarmed Special Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service. You will act as a liaison and work closely with local law enforcement and the Secret Service as necessary. Customer service and de-escalation skills are paramount in this role, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all patrons. Officers are required to wear a suit while on duty to maintain a professional appearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, patrons, and staff.
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring the safety of customers, employees, and visitors.
- Collaborate with local police and Secret Service as required.
- Assist in de-escalating potential conflicts and manage difficult situations with professionalism.
- Enforce site-specific policies and ensure compliance with all security protocols.
- Provide a visible security presence to deter and respond to incidents as needed.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all security-related activities.
Qualifications:
- Valid DC Unarmed SPO License.
- At least 10 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service.
- Significant experience in a restaurant environment.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to de-escalate situations calmly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively with law enforcement and other security agencies.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Must be flexible with working hours, particularly late nights.
- Must wear a suit while on duty to maintain a professional appearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
