JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall upkeep and maintenance of the general plant operation as assigned under essential job functions. This position provides repairs and mechanical support to the Plant Manager and is primarily involved with equipment maintenance and upkeep of the bottling facility.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assists the Plant Manager with operational maintenance to ensure all activities associated with the sourcing of water and the water system, as well as ensures that the plant’s bottling processes adhere to State, Federal, and International Bottled Water Association regulations.
- Responsible for maintenance of the facility to include bottling machinery, storage tanks, plumbing, and electrical equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment used in the water plant.
- Maintenance of all regulatory records necessary for government adherence and company policy purposes.
- Responsible for attending on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.
- Ensure efficient and courteous customer service to store locations in support of the company mission to “Run the Best Store in Town!”
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Ability to meet production standards.
- Previous experience performing operational maintenance, preferred.
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods, as well as applicable knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
- Manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals daily.
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.
