What are the responsibilities and job description for the NCCCO Crane Operator position at K&W Welding, LLC?
Seeking a NCCCO certified crane operator to operate RT 50 Ton/Carry Deck 15 Ton cranes.
Must be proficient in rigging signals & crane safety.
Must have prior crane operating experience.
All cranes will be hauled to the job site. No CDL Class A license required. Regular Class C license required.
Out of town/Overnight stays are required. Per diem included.
Responsibilities:
- The safe operation of company owned cranes.
- Daily & monthly maintenance and inspections.
- Understand and follow all industry recognized signals and rigging practices.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communicate with ground crew and signalers to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
- Monitor crane operations to detect any malfunctions or unsafe conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations.
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate lifting activities.
