K. Wohltman Construction, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Construction Project Manager to join our team in Effingham, IL. As Project Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. As the primary contact, you will completely oversee all aspects of the project.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Completely manage the project from start to finish.
- Responsible for all aspects of the project including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, and project safety.
- Develop the project schedule and oversee/coordinate the flow of construction to ensure project stays on schedule.
- Work closely with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure a successful project.
- Manage construction documentation including submittals, transmittals, change orders, request for proposals, requests for information, and close-out documents.
- Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results.
- Ensure a safe workplace environment on every project.
Job Qualifications: Proven Experience as a Construction Project Manager
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices
- Motivated, self-starter with time management skills
- AutoCAD experience preferred but not necessary
