Claims Investigator
K2 Claims Services is seeking an Investigator to join its Claims Team, at Rubicon Investigative Solutions. This position will be home-based and will include responsibility to investigate suspicious claims and to assist Claims Adjusters in determining coverage, compensability, liability and damages.
K2 Claims Services is a third-party administrator who handles claims nationwide for various insurance carriers. The Claims Team specializes in claims handling meeting the unique needs of the insurance market.
K2 Claims Services is a subsidiary of K2 Insurance Services, LLC and is expanding its product offerings and distribution by developing new insurance programs and increasing the number and geographic diversity of its marketing, sales, and support staff.

The Claims Investigator will conduct desktop and field investigations of insurance policies and claims, handling all lines of Property Casualty insurance, including property, liability, auto and workers’ compensation.
Activities include and not limited to :
- Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders
- Respond to calls, emails and requests from agents, claimants, attorneys, public adjusters, and officials
- Review and evaluate suspect claims
- Gather information form adjusters, law enforcement, claimants, witnesses and others, to develop a better understanding of the case, to determine if the claim is valid
- Conduct research and analyze evidence, documents and police / fire reports
- Conduct interviews online and in person
- Gather evidence and prepare detailed reports of investigation activities and findings.
- Conduct Anti-Fraud training and reporting
- Refer suspect cases to law enforcement
- Direct and monitor investigative work done by vendors
Ideally, the Property Claims Examiner will have :
Pay Range- 80k-90K USD per year
