What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traffic Control Assistant and Runner position at K2 Construction LLC?
Job Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in the construction industry
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Mechanical skills a plus
- Ability to operate equipment a plus
- Flagger certification a plus
- Dependable and hard working
- Physically able to climb, lift and bend repeatedly during an 8 to 10 hour shift
- A positive and professional attitude
- Ability to comply with all safety rules
- Ability to work responsibly with minimal supervision
Job Requirements:
- Transporting and setting up traffic control at jobsites throughout Lincoln and the surrounding area
- Running errands between the K2 shop and various jobsites
- Loading out ice melt for sale
Physical Requirements:
- Standing
- Walking
- Climbing, stooping and bending
- Periodic lifting of 50 to 75 pounds
- Duties may require working from heights
Environmental Working Conditions:
- All work is performed outside in heat, cold and inclement weather
- Exposure to all elements of nature
- Exposure to all types of terrain
- Exposure to loud noise
- Exposure to fumes, odors, gasses, dusts, etc.
- Work in close proximity to heavy traffic
Pay Rate: $18-$22 and up per hour based on experience
