Position: Scrum Master
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Prefer Onsite but open to someone who can work Hybrid in College Park, MD
Responsibilities:
Seeking a Scrum Master with Data Migration, Azure DevOps experience.
This person will be working in the Data Team alongside of Product Owner, Release Train Engineer and Program Managers.
Experience / Exposure to Databricks is a huge plus
Minimum of 6 years in a ScrumMaster position.
Agile Certifications, preferably via Scrum Alliance (CSM), Scrum.org (PSM I, PSM II, PSK I or ProKanban.org (PK I).
Extensive experience with JIRA/Confluence and other software to help agile teams visualize their work.
Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies: Standups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, Sprint
Deep understanding of project management methodologies: iterative planning and execution techniques (i.e.: Agile (Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban), Waterfall, Lean, etc.), including Strong understanding of testing methodologies, deployment management, production defects and support processes.
Serves as a coach and mentor to the team, helping build a high-performing group and strengthening understandings of agile/scrum concepts and principles.
Prioritizes transparency and communication to build trust with business leaders.
Identifies and implements ways to strengthen agile teams and the organization through agile/scrum concepts and principles.
Ensures the agile team s actions are aligned with the project goals and vision and that the agile team s progress and successes are highly visible to all stakeholders.
Assists the Product Owner and the agile team in identifying trade-offs between short- and long-term benefits to drive shared vision.
