JOB OVERVIEW:
Responsible for more than one functional area in Facilities and
Environmental, such as maintenance, facilities engineering,
construction, chemical and property management.
Performs tasks related to the overall management and operations
of facilities, including: material inventory, maintenance and
construction.
- Perform tasks related to the overall management and
operations of facilities.
- Assist with the preventive maintenance planning to
include the oversite of the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP) of
facilities equipment from inception to disposal.
- Monitor work performed by vendors and/or subcontractors
determine adequacy of work relative to job specifications/scope,
and recommend corrective actions as required.
- Examines plans and specifications for new machinery or
equipment, facilities, to determine if all safety precautions
have been included.
- Tours the plant to inspect fire and safety equipment,
machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential
hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Performs a variety of tasks in the controlling and
monitoring of chemicals within the company facility or
manufacturing production organization in accordance with federal,
state and local regulations.
- Oversee the re- pair, replacement or redesign of
facilities, and preventive maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Monitor work performed by vendors and / or
subcontractors determines adequacy of work relative to job
specifications/ scope, and recommends corrective actions as
required.
- Implements the timely completion of requirements in
compliance with Company programs, objectives and within
established cost parameters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices,
techniques, and standards.
- General application of standard concepts and principles.
- Knowledge of Environmental Regulations, construction
building codes and safe work practices
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft office tools
- Ability to identify and procure materials
- Forklift Operator
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, and
industrial health and safety laws.
- Ability to work with ARCHIBUS facilities work order
system
- Inventory control and material handling knowledge.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts
lists.
- Must Have a current State and Government Driver's license
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government
security clearance you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
- Clearance Level: Secret (Must have an active DoD security
clearance or be able to obtain one)
