Duties & Responsibilities
Preparation of schematic, design development and CD phase estimates as required
Participate with Preconstruction Manager on Design Assist projects until the buyout is complete
Assist the Job Captain on bid day with reviewing trade partner bids
Qualifications & Requirements
The Assistant Preconstruction Manager / Estimator's (APME) primary objectives are to support the Preconstruction team by utilizing construction estimating software and tools to perform takeoffs, generate quantity surveys, and prepare detailed cost estimates. He / she will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project scope, objectives, and constraints, as well as participate in meetings to discuss design objectives, budget, and constructability issues. This position requires the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. This is an entry-level position.
