Summary
Our client is a well-recognized, highly sought-after residential general contractor in the Los Angeles, CA (i.e. Pacific Palisades) area and they are in immediate need of an experienced Residential Restoration Project Manager for a leading disaster recovery and restoration firm in Southern California.
This is an enormous opportunity to take charge of high-value restoration projects, work closely with insurance adjusters, and manage subcontractors to restore fire- and water-damaged properties. It will enable you to play a key role in restoring homes and multi-family properties damaged by fire and water, while working on insurance-driven projects that directly impact families and businesses.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restoration projects, from initial scope to final completion.
- Manage subcontractors and project schedules, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality results.
- Work directly with insurance adjusters and property owners to facilitate seamless communication and execution.
- Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and project documentation across multiple projects.
- Conduct weekly safety talks and attend mandatory team meetings on Tuesdays.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience managing residential restoration projects between $100K-$800K.
- Extensive knowledge of fire, water, and disaster recovery restoration.
- Strong subcontractor relationships in single-family and multi-family restoration.
- Deep understanding of insurance claims and adjuster expectations.
- Strong leadership abilities – can take a project and execute without constant oversight.
- Client-focused – able to build trust with homeowners, property managers, and adjusters.
- Detail-oriented – manages budgets, schedules, and quality control with precision.
- Problem-solver under pressure – thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes restoration environments.
