Tax Accountant

Job Summary
We are a public CPA firm seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in public corporate accounting and financial analysis, with a solid understanding of GAAP principles. This role will involve preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Duties

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Tax preparation
• Stay updated on financial concepts, regulations, and best practices to enhance accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in public accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial analysis techniques.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
