Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand the project scope and propose tailored solutions.
- Finalize orders with clients, including furniture, millwork, graphics, technology, and any special requirements.
- Develop detailed project timelines, task assignments, and milestones.
- Assist clients with selecting colors, materials, and design elements.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to manage project delivery.
- Oversee onsite installations, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate replacements.
- Maintain and update project schedules, providing regular progress reports to management.
- Identify upselling opportunities and propose additional services to enhance the project’s value.
- Participate in post-project follow-up, including client engagement and marketing material preparation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in interior fit-out or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools, design processes, and space planning.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CAD, sketching or drafting is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in interior design, construction management, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or interior design, preferably in commercial or retail fit-outs.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and installation techniques.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including vendors, contractors, and designers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project scope effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana).
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, millwork shop drawings and specifications.
- PMP or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent client relationship management skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
