K5 Hospitality is seeking a talented Culinary Director to lead the culinary team at all three of our award-winning restaurant concepts in Atlanta, GA. As an Culinary Director, you will be responsible for creating and implementing delicious menus, managing kitchen operations, and overseeing food preparation and presentation. You will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced chefs and be a part of creating unique and delicious dishes for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the culinary vision of the restaurants.
- Developing new menu concepts, seasonal dishes, and special offerings that aligns with our standards.
- Ensuring consistency and quality by enforcing standards for food preparation and presentation.
- Conduct regular visits to all three restaurants to audit kitchen operations, provide feedback, and implement changes as needed.
- Conduct staff training and supervise kitchen staff’s activities.
- Budgeting and cost management.
- Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs.
- Recruit and manage kitchen staff.
- Rectify arising problems or complaints.
- Perform administrative duties.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Skills:
- Proven working experience as a Culinary Director.
- Excellent record of kitchen management.
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
- Capable of delegating multiple tasks.
- Communication and leadership skills.
- Keep up with cooking trends and best practices.
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
- BS degree in Culinary science or related certificate.
