Duties

- Utilize positive reinforcement techniques to encourage desired behaviors in dogs.
- Monitor and assess the progress of each dog throughout the training process, adjusting methods as necessary.
- Provide guidance to pet owners on best practices for maintaining training at home.
- Maintain a safe and clean training environment for both dogs and their handlers.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure comprehensive care for all animals in the facility.
- Assist with kennel duties as needed, including heavy lifting and animal restraint.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dog training or related fields such as veterinary care, animal handling, or animal care.
- Strong skills in dog handling, including knowledge of various breeds and their behavioral traits.
- Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and safety protocols.
- Experience in pet grooming is a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling large dogs or equipment.
