Pet Groomer

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. We offer a generous rental commission and established clientele. Your added clientele is a bonus. You can make your own hours! We can also do an hourly set rate if you desire a W2 income. We are a dog daycare that has a separate area for dog grooming. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and the ability to provide high-quality grooming services to ensure the health and well-being of pets. This role requires a combination of technical grooming skills and excellent customer service, as you will be interacting with pet owners and their furry companions.

Duties

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs and cats.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
• Handle animals safely and humanely, ensuring their comfort during the grooming process.
• Maintain cleanliness in the grooming area, including tools and equipment.
• Provide pet care advice to owners regarding grooming needs, health, and maintenance.
• Assist with animal restraint during grooming sessions when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Experience
Candidates should possess experience or skills in the following areas:

• Heavy lifting associated with handling larger breeds or multiple pets.
• Experience with pet grooming. Clientele a plus.
• Proficient in animal restraint techniques for safe handling during grooming.
• Experience in dog handling and general animal care practices.
