Salary grade level : Market value / Non-Exempt, Position will be based on education and any past experience with office / administration duties
Position Function : Ability to maintain the front desk of a designated Ka-Comm office. Duties will consist of answering phone calls and transferring them to appropriate departments or individuals. Meeting and greeting customers. Use Microsoft office software to include email, Word and Excel programs. Must be willing to learn or be proficient in using Quickbooks. Help coordinate shipping and receiving needs per office
Primary duties :
E=Essential Functions
- Answer telephone and direct phone calls to appropriate department or personnel (E)
- Perform data entry of sales and service tickets to appropriate customer (E)
- Operate office equipment including copier, printer, and scanner (E)
- Determine office material needs and order as needed per company policy(E)
- Complete all required paperwork and records and submit to appropriate personnel in a timely manner (E)
- Respond to technician needs by helping coordinate service and or sales support (E)
- Work a primary day, Monday through Friday 8-5 with 1 hour lunch break schedule(E)
- Coordinate any paperwork requests from the Salina office (E)
- Ability to handle freight to include lifting up to #25lbs with assistance. Heavy lifting is not required. (E)
Minimum Qualifications :
Education and Experience :
High School Graduate / GED. Post high school education with administration office duties helpful

Will occasionally be around machinery with moving parts. May drive a company vehicle to conduct work.
Physical requirements
Strength and energy to maintain a daily work schedule up to 10 hours per day involving extended periods of sitting. Physical lifting up to 25lbs with assistance; ability to communicate with customers and co-workers; sitting or standing for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to perform data entry operations and copier use. kneeling; bending at the waist and reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally, to retrieve equipment. Break times can be flexible and should involve periodic moving and changing positions.
