About the role:
We are seeking a Director of Medical Collections to oversee the day-to-day activities of a team of Claims Specialists. At KabaFusion, our collections department is responsible for following up on the non-payment of insurance claims by managing the appeals and denials process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Organize and lead efforts to maximize operational efficiency and optimize reimbursement
- Follow-up, analysis, and resolution of outstanding insurance claims
- Inspire, motivate, coach, and supervise staff
As a Medical Collections Manager, you bring:
- Associates’ degree in related field or equivalent exp
- 5 years of health insurance claims processing experience with an emphasis on collections
- 5 years of previous supervisory or management experience
