Cad Tech Description

You will play a vital role in the design and drafting process, utilizing SolidWorks (CAD) software to create detailed technical drawings and models. In this fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate will work closely with engineering to transform concepts into workable designs, contributing to a variety of projects. The CAD Technician will be responsible for maintaining design documents and ensuring that all technical drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with industry standards. The CAD Technician will also be responsible for processing job packets utilizing SigmaNest and SigmaBend.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
• Modify existing CAD drawings based on feedback from engineers and architects.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications.
• Ensure all drawings and models adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.
• Maintain organized files and documentation related to design projects.
• Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Process Job packets to be produced on the Laser and Press Brakes
