Job Description

Kable Staffing is in urgent need of an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Hebron, KY. This position is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor the preventative maintenance programs to ensure that facilities and equipment are cared for proactively. Complete all preventative maintenance tasks on a timely basis.
Evaluate maintenance requests to understand problems and determine the best resolution.
Maintain operating condition of building facilities and equipment.
Welding, fabrication, plumbing, and light carpentry.
Troubleshoot and complete comprehensive repairs to thermal spray equipment through knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, and related skills.
Troubleshoot and repair vacuum furnaces, leak testing, pump and motor repairs, heating elements, thermocouple replacements, and resolve other electrical-mechanical issues.
Working knowledge and operation of Fanuc robots is a plus.
Operate lathe, vertical mill, band saw, MIG, TIG, Arc welding, plasma cutter, and common hand or power tools.
Follow proper tie-off procedures.
Follow lock-out / tag-out procedures.
Use a digital maintenance management system to track work and log information related to completed tasks.
Maintain documentation and reports related to environmental and regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

Education – High School diploma. A two-year technical degree is a plus.

Experience – minimum 5-7 years of relevant industry experience.

Ability to read equipment schematics.

Familiarity with digital maintenance management systems is preferred.

Must be able to work in an industrial environment including at elevated heights and in confined spaces.

Manual dexterity to perform data entry functions.

Ability to bend, pull, stoop, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and reach to perform functions.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

May be exposed to heat, fumes, noise, humidity, etc.

Must have the cognitive and mental capacity to perform essential job functions.

Strongly prefer candidates who have a working knowledge of thermal spray technology and general industrial technologies including electronics, robotics, and mechanical systems.

Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, files, etc.

Ability to hear in person and via phone.
